About the Show
The Wild Party
Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa
Step into a 1920’s apartment where glamour, ego, and desparation collide.
The Wild Party follows Queenie and Burrs, a volatile couple locked in a cycle of obsession and one-upsmanship. In a reckless attempt to prove love and control, they host an anything-goes party, drawing in artists, lovers, and outsiders - each hungry for attention, escape or something they can’t name.
As the night spirals, boundaries dissolve, Desire sharpens. Old wounds surface, What begins as an indulgent spectacle fractures into something far more dangerous, exposing the damage left behind when passion is weaponized and valudation becomes survival.
Driven by sultry jazz and razor-sharp emotional stakes, The Wild Party is built for intimacy and immersion. It’s a story about excess and vulnerability, attraction and violence, and the moment when a celebraation tips past the point of no return. This is musical theatre that lives in the underbelly - seductive, unsettling, and impossible to look away from.
